GOLF –Save the Date! Send in your entry form for the tournament. October 25^th at Spring Valley –This year our tournament will be held at Spring Valley and we are holding it jointly with the Builders Exchange of San Francisco! This gives us a chance to play with our friends and also members of another exchange. It’s a shotgun start at 11AM and the $110 fee includes cart, bag lunch, dinner and lots and lots of fun! This is a really nice golf course in the hills near Ed Levin Park. It is noted for its greens which are some of the most challenging in the area. Scramble format, so it is fun for all levels of player. At the end of October the weather should be perfect!

We also want your company to become a sponsor of our event and get some publicity. This is a good way for people to see your company name and also to meet you. Putting your name in front of customers is how you build business for your company. If you are a sub or supplier don’t miss this chance.  See the flyer for sponsorship levels. EPA Renovator Lead Based Paint Training – This is the new EPA required training for contractors who renovate older (pre 1978) homes and disturb more than 6 square feet of paint (that’s pretty much everybody). The course is 8 hours and  CALINC is holding a training session here at the Exchange on 9/9 2010. The deadline for having this training completed has been extended to October (it was April) and it is pretty hard to get so be sure to send someone from your company! The cost is $200 and you sign up with CALINC see the flyeror call them at 800-359-4467.

Dream Girls At the Curran on September 8th – This is the Broadway hit based upon the Supremes and follows the trials, conflicts and successes of this great signing group. Great music and voice and a behind the scenes into how this famous group evolved . This is a must see!  Use the flyer to reserve your tickets!

First Aid Certification: September 22 from 9 until about Noon. Get your card! Help people! Flyer here

CPR Certification: October 12^th from 9AM until about Noon. A must for electricians and a good idea for everyone! Sign up sheet here 

West Side Story – A great Love Story and fun theatre! More than 50 years ago a play about New York City changed musical theatre forever. And now it is coming to San Francisco in a groundbreaking new production by Tony Award winner Arthur Laurents. This is the musical of the year – don’t miss it! We go on Tuesday, November 16^th and the show starts at 8PM. It’s a nice way to kick off the holiday season with your friends! Tickets by 8/24 or when they are gone if sooner. Please use the flyer!
