They publish an excellent pocket safety book and answer questions. Their local branch is in Oakland and you can call them at 510-622-2891.

Cal-OSHA publishes an EXCELLENT pocket guide to construction safety. This booklet gives the basics on just about any condition you could run into in the field including trenches, electrical, scaffolding, demolition and much more.
